US Perspective 29 Let's Go! Chain of Command campaign
« on: June 03, 2022, 11:46:47 AM »
I have been playing "Battle Brush Sigur" in the Chain of Command Campaign "29 Let's Go!" I have taken on the role of the US.

Sigur has posted his AARs from the German side.  Here is the AAR for the US for turn 1.  Turn 2 and 3 coming soon.

It's quite interesting getting reports from both sides of these battles.  A hearty "Well done!" to both sides.  Even if the Americans have taken in their shorts so far... :o

Yes I like doing it from my side and seeing what Sigur writes from his.  My tactics haven't been great, but I was very unlucky with that mortar barrage last game.

Still.i am sure the 4th time is a charm!

A disappointing outcome but great narrative in the write up! 👍

Thanks!

The campaign is going rather badly at the moment, but on the plus side it is presenting with a lot of great narrative moments.

Let's see if A company fare any better.

As Capt.Jim has said, it is great getting both perspectives on these exciting CoC games. This time you came so close!
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Oh well.  You can't win them all.  Or any of them, as it turned out... :o

Maybe next time....after US artillery flattens the joint...

Brilliant stuff Colbourne66, and like others I really appreciate seeing the campaign from both sides as the different perspective adds more depth and realism to the narrative.

Thank you for posting, I’m looking forward to the next PSC you tackle.
