Yeeees... Er, re the grenadiers... They 'might not' be 100% historical... As discussed on the blog, the regiment originally wore 100% mitre-caps, but in 1757 switched to bearskins and changed its title. At some point during that year they also seem to have been ordered to hand in the grenadier caps from all but six companies (presumably two companies per battalion, although there was only one grenadier company per battalion). So given the level of confusion, my massive stash of spare grenadier figures and my total shamelessness, I decided to do them all in bearskins...
It was late, I'd been drinking, I was young and needed the money while hoovering in the shower, etc...
