The Battle of Nid Pt 2

The Battle of Nid continued to a conclusion yesterday. The cavalry battles continued on either wing. On Conans right his cavalry were worn down by numbers which allowed for flank and rear charges, waving the 4 units of Turanian lancers and the remains of the Hykranians the only formed cavalry on the battlefield after the cream of Aquilonian Knights had an initial success but were swamped by infantry and eventually wiped out on Conans left. The Turanian infantry managed to reform their lines to face the 3 blocks of Aquilonian infantry, but To-Me-Ku-PA’s cavalry looked like they might tip the balance. However the evil sorcerer had ventured too far forwards in his chariot and was “ unhorsed”! Conan charged in and a personal fight ensued. 5 turns later the sorcerer was slain and his forces quit the field. Conan’s wizard spent most of the game repelling the skeletons who were activated when Conans left flank passed close to the Ziggurat of Doom!
