If you are coming to Partizan in Newark this May, Mark is planning to bring his MLS terrain and figure collection to put on a display game.

Come and say hello and have a chat with Mr Copplestone. I'll be there holding his hat and coat, just a cursory nod in my direction will suffice.

I’m really tempted…
For a foreigner: we’re speaking of Newark on Trent near Nottingham?

Thanks! Will very much depend on my work schedule, but if I’m there, I’ll nod a hi and watch the great man!

I'm enjoying painting the MLS and we've played a few games with them. Last night the discussion turned toward how the figure packs were set up. Overall I think they're fine but I wouldn't mind being able to get a pack of just the Panovian officer in Kepi or the Berglander officer in cap. A pack of kneeling figures to use as assistant gunner for the HMG would be handy.

I do understand the logistics of molding and packaging things may not make this all that practical but thought I'd throw it out there.

Any thoughts?

I think there's little to no chance of Mark designing the kneeling figure.
Specific figures? Drop us an email, I'm sure we could sort something out.

Nick, Thanks for the reply. As to the kneeling figures I was thinking more along the line of the existing figures packed differently. As to the others I'll get in touch.

I bought additional artillery crews to get kneeling figures for HMG assistants. It means more of my gun crew are holding shells which didn't seem a bad bargain  :). The extra telephone operators went into my HQ units, the mortar teams and so on.

Mark is putting Wave 5 together at the moment, there's pictures on his Instagram page.
Part of the release are Militia Standard Bearers, here our Kev has painted one up carrying the Black Country flag (upside down, not sure he knew that)

Something only West Bromwich Albion fans are likely to notice and who cares what they think.  You can always tell 'em it's the international signal for distress at sea.  They'd be used to the notion and think it apt. ;)

Nicely painted, both figure and flag.

I hope it’s alright to post my photo in this thread?

Berglander Assault Troops

Officer, LMG, SMG x2 Flamethrower and Riflemen x7.

Used single colours mainly with occasional highlight, heavy blacklined and high-gloss varnish finish.

Will take some better photos at some point – these just on my phone in daylight.  (Though with glossy finish there’s only so much a camera can do.)

I took some photos with my usual camera.
