High-quality 28mm Modern Decals

Hi all,

Quick question for the collective brain trust as I've been scrabbling around myself and failed to come up with a satisfactory answer - where does one source good 28mm AFV decals for post-1991 units? Specifically would be looking for U.S., British, Russian and Chinese, but equally any generic sheets would be useful.

Either Peddinghaus in Germany or Quarterkit in France but only as long as 28mm means 1/48- 1/50 scale.

Have a look at Star Decals.
Most of the items are 1/35 or 1/72 but there are some in 1/48.

Good point. I have the 1/48 Star Decal sets for the Tamiya T-55

Thanks chaps - those all look promising and I'm generally a 1/50 loyalist so should work perfectly.

Addendum. You won’t find Chinese in any of the above listed but you can find useful Chinese PLA stars in various 1/72 and 1/48 aircraft kits. I’d suggest doing a search on the Hannants site for after market sets.

Cheers Carlos, I noticed there weren't any PLA ones and thought trying it from scratch might be futile given my calligraphy is ropey at the best of times, I'll check Hannants and the other usual spots for any leftovers.
