What other conflicts can I use generic Spanish/Italian buildings for?
(1/2) > >>
dr beard:
I've been working on some 15mm Empires at War Spanish/Italian buildings which I'd bought for a WW2 Italian Campaign. Aside from the obvious like the Spanish Civil War, Carlist Wars and the Peninsular I'm wondering what other conflicts can I use them for?
Realistically how far back would they be accurate for? What other parts of the world are they good for?
Here's a selection with all of them on my blog: https://majorballsuphobbyshed.blogspot.com/2022/06/mediterranean-mdf-buildings-revamp-pt4.html
Any guidance would be really appreciated. Cheers Andy
has.been:
Pirates, The Prisoner, Modern Mediterranean (Crime gangs/ Zombies/Separatist 'Civil' wars/ Italian Unification (Garibaldi) /Renaissance/Tricorne (7YW/ WSS/French expansion)/ Alien invasion & Pulp, to name but a few.
Should be suitable for most Mediterranean countries, or countries colonized by said countries, e.g. Mexico/ Brazil/ Peru etc.
Daeothar:
To my Northern European eye, they look Italian enough to be used in conflicts like the Italian Wars of 1499-1504, the Unification of Italy or the Italian wars of Independence (all 3).
But maybe I'm very much off; I'm not that well versed in Southern architecture I must admit...
Golgotha:
Spanish? So Peninsular War Napoleonic... Mexico?
Any conflicts around the Mediterranean Sea and covering a good few hundred years worth I would imagine.
marianas_gamer:
I plan to use similar building for Pulp games in the Philippines.
