Searching for Resin 1/144th Zero Fighters
« on: June 22, 2022, 10:14:44 PM »

Where may I find 1/144th Zero fighters that are one piece models.  Resin or otherwise.

I wish to avoid building up model kits.

Perhaps have a look at the Minairons website. Many of their aircraft are resin kits, but mostly in three large pieces and a few smaller bits. I think the Zero model I saw was in 9 pieces all in. Sorry, I can't think of one-piece castings as your question. I have seen them over the years, I think. Certainly one-piece AFVS and transport vehicles in metal, but I can't recall the manufacturer.

You should look into the F-Toys range, plastic but reasonably robust. Basically pre-built/painted model kits, usually the quality is surprisingly good. If you can stomach building a kit they're the same as the ones released by Sweet. Main downside is that they're collectable and so the older releases are both harder to find and very expensive.
