Let The Blood Run Down
« on: July 02, 2022, 11:15:58 AM »
“Let The Blood Run Down” - a “Dead Man’s Hand” after action report … it’s been a while.

“It’s awful quiet in town … too quiet”

The town of McGinty Crossing, way out west

The Dude spots his prey … as Miguel makes a dash for the stairs …

Ducking back, the Dude's just not quick enough. Miguel, leaps the stairs and shoots through the doorway.

End of Scene One

With the peace shattered, vengeance is the order of the day. There’s going to be a reckoning …

The Bandidos are drinking in the “Three Trails Saloon” unaware of the massing Pinkerton posse waiting outside.

Luckily, Pedro just happens to look out of the window as the Pinkertons start closing in on the Saloon.

Things look bad for the Banditos …

End of Scene Two

The petty squabble has escalated. The Pinkertons, find themselves ambushed as they were about to leave town. The road out of town is blocked by a waggon and a dead team of horses. The shooting starts and the Pinkertons dive for cover behind the waggon.

Taking cover …

… but not enough. A Pinkerton is shot down by one of the rifle armed Banditos.

And some of the gang try and outflank the posse.

But the Pinkertons hold fast, and are victorious…

… whilst Angel, Blue Duck and Jose “Head for the Hills”.

A really enjoyable afternoon of Wild West action, with plenty of twist and turns and lots of card play.

Nice!!!

Question...what's the empty shell casing for?  A marker of some type?  I'm in the need for some markers and just might use some 22LR shells (1st I have to go to the range!).

Yeap, we use them as out of ammo markers (in most of our western games) - this one looks like Doc has fired one of the shotgun barrels, especially as Miguel has an underfire marker against him.
