Dwarf Slayers?
« on: July 07, 2022, 08:12:40 PM »
Hi there! I am in the midst of building a dwarf army for Dragon Rampant out of Oathmark models.

I was wondering if there are any proxies for Warhammer-style Dwarf Slayers out there? The new Fyreslayers from Age of Sigmar seem much too tall. I am interested mostly in the two weapon/two=handed weapon variety, with the possibility of some female models as well.

Thank you for any and all help!

Not sure what they have or if they still exist, but Avatars of War used to have a bunch of alternative GW style dwarves.

Dwarf Seekers from Avatars of War. Proper hard plastic kit, excellent quality, good detail. 100% the way to go for Dwarf Slayers. Bought a pack a few years ago, really good models

Just finished preparing a pack of Avatars of War plastic Slayers. In my opinion they are great miniatures - the best in the AoW plastic Dwarf range.

I have Oathmark Dwarfs as well and the AoW Dwarfs are bigger -  more girth than height. All mine are for Kings of War on separate regiment bases so it doesn't bother me much.

I can also vouch for them. They're really nice models. My only regret is that I gave (almost) all of them away to a friend who was making a dwarf army. I could really use them right now!
