Anyone make 15mm running LOOTERS?
« on: July 04, 2022, 04:29:14 AM »
Looking for 12-15 figures (15mm) carrying off stolen clothes, TVs and other merchandise.  Does anyone make 15mm running looters?

Thanks!

Dan

They have protesters but not really looters

Thanks, Bandit.

I had looked at these rioters of theirs, and thought about adding TVs and other things over their shoulders and such:

But I thought I would ask first, in case someone knew of a ready-made solution.

Thanks again.

Are you thinking of something like the very early days of some Apocalypse? I can see some rioters and looters being in the way of things.

Irregular Miniatures, Fighting 15s, Zombiesmith use to have rioters I don't know if he does anymore however, Rebel Minis has "Terrified Civilians" they would be easy to add items too.

Look at Peter PIg's AK47 range.  They have a pack of looters.

They also do Civilians & TV Crew.

Thanks!  Those Peter Pig ones look great.  I only wish there was a little bit more variety.

You can always pad them out with other Peter Pig figures.
For example their marker figures who are carrying what looks like planks.
File off the embossed words & maybe shorten the planks.
Also some of the militia figures could swell the mob.
Look also at other ranges (than AK47) that Peter Pig do. Civilians from other
periods can join your mob. Some of the poorer quality troops in my AK47 army
are deserters from some of my Ancients armies.
 lol lol lol

Hey, in 15mm a nice paint job hides a LOT.
e.g. Egyptian javelin man with weapon cut off is just a guy
in a tunic with bare legs. Paint the tunic as a top & the bare
legs as jeans, then stick him in with the (other) rioters.

I’d definitely second the Peter Pig idea and the great versatility of the ranges (I’m converting pirate range natives, early Germans and a few others into pre-contact Native Americans for Flint and Feather) don’t forget the separate head range as well.

Also I think Khurusan do some running rioters labelled thugs (yep here they are) https://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/zomb-thugs1.jpg in their 15mm zombie range which have open hands and a range of weapons IIRC. Hopefully I’ve attached a pic. The minis are here https://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/15mmzombie.html in the second block down titled Living - Zombie Apocalypse Survivors.

I’ll add looking for suitable minis to my regular scouring of Peter Pigs site instead of sleep.

I have forgotten about Khurasan figures. They are some really nice-looking figures.

I believe the weapon sprue that comes with them also contains the deadly MkII house brick (unlike the mkI it is suitable for both right and left handed users and impervious to EMP  lol ).
