You are an amazingly talented sculptor.  The movement on your figures is so natural; not forced at all.  It creates a realism rarely seen in anything but “one-off” diorama pieces.

Your ACW sculpts are wonderful, but these are at another level altogether.

Keep challenging yourself.  I can’t wait to see where you go from here.

Thanks for the kind words.
This project is for my relaxation and removal of psychological daily stress. This project is to dive into the past. In the apartment of Nicholas 1.
When creating the figure, the goal was not to create a figure for replication (although any figure can be cast in parts)

And to ACW - I think I will return in the future  ;)

I'm very pleased to have received today a series of photos of these wonderful figures from Nic Robson of Eureka Miniatures. A good number (but not all) are laid out on the mould wheels ready to go and order codes and price lists have been created.

I'm on the verge of placing my first of what I anticipate being several orders, commencing with the lancer/uhlans. I will drop everything and paint them up as fast as I can to share what they turn out like - as far as my skills can do them justice at any rate.

The masters for the dismounted ural cossacks look great and I can only beg that mounted variants will follow. I will post as much as I have permission to on my blog and will link back to the LAF but it's probably not appropriate for me to hijack this thread.

I already threw out a wish list but I'd like to publicly advocate strongly for regular Light and Heavy field and horse artillery guns, crews and limbers (6pdr, 9pdr licorn, 12pdr and 18pdr licorns). These are gaps in the period more generally in this scale.

I understand the difficulties of getting post out of Russia but Khmorg ... you are doing a beautiful thing.

Hear hear.

Good news that things are progressing at Eureka. I hope Eureka Uk will stock them too, especially since I am planning some big Crimean War games to celebrate my birthday in July.

Really looking forward to seeing what you do with Nicholas's earlier reign too Khmorg. Please keep up the good work.

Thank you very much for your attention to this topic.
Currently, generals are in development, then there will be choke shooters. (also Ural (army) Cossacks in attack, prayer service, Moscow infantry regiment)

At the same time, I was invited to take part in a project for Russia in the 17th century (Times of Troubles). I will earn money, buy molding rubber and mold the necessary items for the 1830 project. Artillery will be part of the 1830 project

Comrades,

I've placed my pre-order for some Uhlans this week with Nic Robson of Eureka Miniatures. Nic has developed the figures codes and they are ready for moulding. He was kind enough so send me the complete photo set of the masters on the rubber mould wheels. He has not received the complete range to-date. As you might all appreciate, postage out of Russia is difficult at present. You will notice the foot skirmishing Ural Cossacks which we had not seen before (I don't think).

Well that took longer than anticipated but I've finished the first twelve of Dimitri's lancers (ulans) and this is at least what I was able to do with them. So, just found these figures in the last 24hrs which I have spent investigating further!

There are some cracking pieces in the range!

It would be great to see them available in the UK.
