Those are very cool - be nice to have some taller ones too. The floor cleaning pads I have seen do not look suitable any chance of pics or links to the product used?

This is what it looks like. It's made for for floor buffing machines.

Any industrial cleaning supply store will have them.

You can also use the smaller scouring pads that you can buy in any supermarket.

Very, very nice work.

Do you have a tutorial with WIP pics posted anywhere?

Nicely done. Did you tear up the pads to create the hedge sections?

"Do you have a tutorial with WIP pics posted anywhere?"

I published it in an Ezine. Let me look around and see if I saved a copy of the article.

"Did you tear up the pads to create the hedge sections?"

Yes. As I said in my opening paragraph, I used 2 pair of pliers to rip the chunks from the pad. Onr pair to hold the pad and the second pliers to rip away chunks..
I probably have that article around here somewhere.

Golgatha,"Those are very cool - be nice to have some taller ones too."

Like these?

I've got dozens of these made up. I'll look for some pix.
First shot shows them pre flocked.

Love the bases they are on too. I used 3M Stripping pad material that looks a lot like the material you used though it comes in rectangle.

I think that it's all the same material, just in different shapes.
The different shapes are to fit different cleaning machines.
