Regiment van Birkenfeld

Here's my first Dutch unit, van Birkenfeld. Unusually, I did most of the painting on this unit. They are in the plainer Dutch uniforms of the mid-1670s, but the officers still add a burst of colour. I made the flags.

I'm going to pivot back to ancients, for a time, but will hopefully manage to sneak in the odd 1672 unit before I make a Big Push in the spring.

Another beautiful unit, Simon! The officers do look rather splendid and I’m sure no one would be so ungentlemanly as to fire at them first . Great job on the flags - they look very convincing to me 👍
