The Loot Room
« on: September 01, 2022, 06:57:46 PM »
Anyone had any dealings with the Loot Room?

https://thelootroom.com/

Placed an order with them 9th August. No indication of when I will be in receipt of it and no reply to emails.

Hi! No. I have had no dealings but looked as I'd never heard of them before.
My first thoughts were why do you have to subscribe at £10 a month? You would have buy regularly to save money.
Did you get confirmation email for joining or for your order?
I wouldn't subscribe, but know some would.
I see the blurb say it started in 2018 servicing cos play participants but is registered in 2020 with Companies House. Sheffield being the registered address. That being so the order should have shipped by now unless they have difficulty sourcing some of the items.
After three weeks I'd consider claiming my money back through your card services for  items not received. Especially as attempts to contact have been ignored.

Thanks for the advice. You don’t need to subscribe. For me it was just a one off order. The have since called me.  Said they had replied to my emails but they weren’t getting through for reason. Anyway they said the order is all packed and awaiting despatch so it sounds like all is well  :)

Distance selling regulations (UK) state 30 days for completion of any online orders unless agreed otherwise.

I used to subscribe, the discount was worth it for what I was spending on GW, I did the maths  lol Later on though I stopped buying that much and unsubscribed.

In any case, I always found them reliable.

It's actually just the Outpost under a different trading name  ;)

Thanks for the further replies.  Yes they referred to themselves as The Outpost when they phoned, not that this meant much to me. Anyway got my order not long after so all good.
