the plump of Yorkist Scurrers at Tewkesbury
« on: September 14, 2022, 02:27:14 PM »
At the critical moment of the battle as Somerset advanced his ward towards the Yorkist lines Edward IV led a charge against him and from the cover of trees, two hundred mounted men, the "plump of spears" charged into Somersets flank or rear causirng his men to rout and the battle was lost. Here is my take on a very Yorkist Kings Livery plump of Pery plastics light cavalry

Great paintwork! Your bases are also really well done, really ties the unit together!

If you don't mind me asking, what's your recipe for the Yorkist Murrey colour?

Fab work Mike  :-* :-* :-*

What size bases have you chosen to go with for the mounted stuff? Looks to be 25mm x 50mm?

I don't mind at al! I used Citadel Khorne Red trio mixed with a little of the Foundry Terracotta trio to make it a bit more medievalish
