Maximillian in Mexico 1865
« on: September 17, 2022, 10:39:18 PM »
Finally got in a game w/ my figures. A mix of manufactors, using House Rules.French and Imperial troops to assault the Cuididad of Santa Rosa andit;s scenic Rock gardens.Assault column made up of the Legion ,Belgians, Austrians and Imperial Mexicans ,w/ Contra Guerillas on the far right. The Garrison defended by Imperial Mexicans and the Martinique Engineer Batt. The assault went well  on the left ,but Col. Dupin was overwhelmed on right ,by countless Irregularo ambushes. Meanwhile Garrison in rear was lost to a Juarista assault. The main assault finally petered out on the heights, though the belgians came close. Fun had by all .
