Hello from Berkeley!

Hello all!

I'm a retired fellow, living in Berkeley California. Role-playing games, and some board games, take up a lot of my life the last couple of years.

Besides several fantasy and science-fiction settings, I've got a strong interest in Victorian and pre-WW2 role-playing games. I've built up four shelves of period references!

Welcome aboard!  I had an enjoyable day  or two wandering around Berkeley in my long gone, misspent, youth. Lovely part of the world.

Heh, Willoughby was at the British legation in Roumania. The "Carte de Identitate" is the national identity card of that nation in the interwar period; a few samples are attached.

I was misled by the english/french inscription on the passport. Another mystery! And an interesting setting for an interwar game...

Many passports used to be labeled in (your nation's language) and French, or even just in French. Here's another diplomatic passport!
