Colony 87 vs Old School 40k Figures
« on: September 22, 2022, 10:53:54 PM »
Hi folks, hoping someone can help.

In my continued search for some civilians to populate my 40k settings, I was wondering if anyone could help out with some comparison pics between Crooked Dice Colony 87 figures and old school (think 2nd- 3rd edition) WH40K figures, please? Ideally things like old metal Perry sculpt Imperial Guard, metal Sisters of Battle, or Space Marines of that sort of late 90s-early 00s era. Since they're not cheap, I'd ideally like to check compatibility first.

I have a couple of Astropolis minis which nail the aesthetic, but are rather too big to play well, and while they were similarly pricey (and you can argue various "augmentation" or "inhabitant of a high gravity world" reasonings) I'm still loathe to use them when a merchant's wife towers over a Terminator (also makes my poor Terminators feel terribly inadequate...)

Any help greatfully received.
Proudly not painting Wars of The Roses since... ever

Take a look at Dr Matthias thread.  It’s long but he had a bunch of oldhammer figures and Colony 87 as well.
