Virginia Militia

These are my Virginia Militia.

After the devastating defeats at Charleston and Waxhaws, the Virginia Continentals were no more.
All that was left were the soldiers who had escaped the disasters.

The Militia filled their ranks with Ex Continentals and they gave a good account of themselves at Cowpens.
These are Kings Mountain figures that come with separate heads.

I am particularly fond of the standing shooting figure, who is wearing the Scottish bonnet.
