Yeah, I hyperlinked the images straight from Facebook ergo the tomfoolery on their part.

but I sure love this idea! Looking forward to seeing more of it!  lol

I have attached the imaged at the bottom of my original post for those who do not do Facebook, or just didn't want to follow the link I provided ;)  lol

Just in case, here they are again......

I just realised the saddle blanket is sculpted to the horse and the saddle to the rider- intriguing approach.

Yes, it is interesting. The closest I've seen is with medieval riders sitting on saddles with a high pommel and high back where the pommel and the back are sculpted attached to the rider.

Might mean those new Wargames Atlantic nags could come into play if you wanted more variety in your horseflesh.

The owner has confirmed they are Hicks sculpts and he's agreed to make them available for sale.
EXCELLENT! :)

Production moulds are apparently in the process of being made as we speak, or so Steve said somewhere on his Warre Game FB page.

Hello Everyone
These Cuirassiers will be part of my Deathride of Gustavus Game at Salute next year
You can follow developments on FB (The WarreGame 17thC)
As I’m sure you all know, commissions are expensive so I’ll be selling some to cover my outlay
The latest news is that the first batch are cast and will be dispatched to me very soon …

More news as I have it

Are you planning additional miniatures, such as command types ? (there's a dearth of good cuirassier officers out there, as Paul Hicks never sculpted any for Emil Horky's Bohemian Miniatures range - now owned by Empress)
