Medieval wagon tabor in 28mm?
« on: September 24, 2022, 03:10:19 PM »
I’m just having a look around for suitable models or scenery that can represent a wagon tabor in 28mm.
It will be stationary so no pack animals needed.
Base size would be 60mm X 120mm.
But I’d need to keep cost down, as I need to fill 8 bases!

1st corps do lovely Hussite wagons, but this could be costly in metal?
I was wondering if any of the laser cut stuff would suffice?
I suppose they are more of a portable fortress?

Ideas?
It would be for a Russian army.
A millionaire trapped in a peasants body!

Any of the old Kingmaker range from 1st Corp Tim.

Just base the models so you have the horse teams on one base and the wagon on another. Simply remove cuddies and away you go..... :)

Maybe contact one of the guys and ask what size the wagon models are before you order too?

Yeah, these are lovely.
Just wondering if there was a cheaper laser cut alternative?

I’d want to build the bases to look like a wagon fort, and add extra stuff like crates and barrels to make it look semi permanent rather than ready to roll.

Funnily enough Fireforge do a war wagon in MDF!
I was looking at the Russian range that they do!

Just need some resin scatter terrain now to fill in the gaps!
