Anyone used Hail Caesar for the Crusades?
« on: September 25, 2022, 04:37:39 PM »
Hi,

Just a quick couple of questions as I have a small army that I am about to start painting and basing. Has anyone used Hail Caesar for the Crusade period? Are there any army lists out there? Having watched 7th Son (?) doing his thing with The Wars of the Roses it proves to me that this set is adaptable and can cope with bolt on rules.... I just can't seem to find much myself.

I know Lion Rampant is popular but I do like multi based troops.... I even dug out an old copy of DBA but I have never considered it for years especially in 28mm.

Thanks for any pointers.

I could be wrong but I think there was a Crusades battle report in the first edition  ???

I think the Perry's use Hail Caesar for the crusades too- see this Facebook post (though it may have been Soldiers of God)  ???:

I thought there were Crusade army lists in the core rule book. And they are also covered (probably in more detail) in the army list supplement - sorry, can’t recall the name right now.
