I whipped up this Reaper wizard really quick today for use in this upcoming weekend's convention.  While a quick and easy paintjob, I really enjoyed this guy.  Wish I'd slowed down a bit...

He'll see various use in FSF, though sadly he's a big ole boy (someone must be drinking the GW kool-aid over at Reaper).  He's easily a 7' tall guy...guess magic has weird effects on people.

I like him so much he'll probably join the mercenaries on occasion or take a role as an NPC in campaigns, etc.

Over the weekend I attended Siege of Augusta in - shock - Augusta, Georgia.

I had planned to run FSF as a demo game, but didn't have table access.  Instead I brought some stuff and simply ran games with a couple friends of mine - ended up having a really nice time.  It was nice not having to shout at a half dozen people, teaching the game.  In retrospect...I don't know if FSF will make the convention circuit, given it's a bit complex to teach.

I ran two games of my Chaos Dwarfs against my friend who ran my Dogs of War/mercenary army.  I was handily beaten, twice.  My Chaos Dwarf army is now...1-9 maybe?  lol

Turns out a bunch of angry dwarfs with guns and a volley gun...is tough to march into.  :-[

Coming back...I then helped run an FSF game the next day for my two buddies who ran Bretonnians vs. Orcs (Bretonnians destroying them mercilessly!)

My buddy's Bretonnian army is coming along noicely.

Agreed with @blacksoilbill - great wizard. And yeah, Reaper scale can be a bit varied- but if the sculpt is a fun one, play on!

Those pictures of the games in progress look awesome! Thanks for sharing!
I have a YouTube and so can you!

Assume he is like Gandalf and a bit more than human.    lol

Great looking battlefields.

COOL STUFF! The miniatures, including the spectral fellows, painted up WONDERFULLY. The games are visual delights. OUTSTANDING WORK!

Thanks,

Yeah we all just decided he's huge...because he's a wizard!  A lot more work for both the Chaos Dwarfs and the Dogs of War for 2025.  So many minis to recruit.
