AWI French Cavalry
« on: October 03, 2022, 06:26:57 AM »
The AWI Collection continues without commercial interruption!

There are part of my French Horsemen.
I say part, because there is also a troop of Lancers courtesy of the Duc de Lauzun.

I like the round washers for Mounted figures.
I previously used 1 X 2 inch thin metal stands.
But I've switched to the round and I like them better.

Very nice.

I have two units for the French, Lauzan's Legion hussars and St. Simon's dragoons.  No lancers that I recall in my collection.  Will stand with what I have at this point.

15's,  I have the Lancers for the battle of the Hook, which was probably the largest cavalry battle of the AWI.

How odd is it that the Americans (British Legion) were fighting the French, to keep America in British hands?

Are Kingsmountain miniatures 28mm? It doesn't actually say on the website I vaguely remember they might be very compatible with Redoubt AWI though
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
