HMS Hood is Alive !

The 1/700 WW2 Naval Project has taken an upturn in size with the addition of the first Cspitsl Ship, the instantly recognisable HMS Hood.

A standard Tamiya Waterlone Kit placed on a home made 420 x 100 base. It might need a car park to game with, but you know what, I don't care

I will be concentrating on more Destroyers and some Merchant Ships but will always have something bigger being slowly built on the side. I have kits for Pow, Prinz Eugen and currently being built, the Bismark.

I've included a few pics on the overall thread but thought this mighty ship deserved its own post.

H.M.S. Hood always had a soft spot for this ship, only slightly edged out by the Warspite, both fantastic battle jalopies (and their crews of course).

Find that blue-painted car park and get on with hunting the Bismark
