Ooo, it worked! More to come as I do them, originally for a variety of Skirmish rules, the Silver Bayonet came along and with a few Harryhausen style bad guys they seemed to fit.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Thanks all! Some more.

I've some more to do then before the end of the year I'm finally beginning my long-promised 16th C Colonial project, with Portuguese, Tupi etc, from Brazil to the Orient :-)

Beautiful work on an unusual part of the Napoleonic wars.  You should add a mini diorama of the engineer officer discovering the Rosetta Stone.

Cheers! Was thinking of doing something like that  - I've got the parts to do a diorama base of an exhumed mummy with dissection tools etc. That'll do nicely for Silver Bayonet.

Lovely work well done. Just a quick question ... What color and make did you use for the sand?

Thanks

Cheers! That's a mix of a couple of the AK Interactive texture jars - Sandy Desert and the other - they have a nice warm tint to them, easily the best commercial desert texture product.
