Glenning's 40k adventures
« on: October 08, 2022, 10:03:01 PM »
As the title suggest, this will be my main thread for all things 40k!

I've recently painted some of my backlog Tau minis and man hae I've been bitten by the bug ... Super fun to build and paint and I can't wait to do more.

Anyway, these are the first Tau (and Kroot) I've painted since they were initially released back in 2001 (I even bought the army set then). That force was speed painted for a tournament, in teal and black, so this time around I decided to give each and every mini some love and I settled with a khaki/subtle green spot camo and black, as I imagine these guys fighting on some kind of tropical planet (similar to SW's Scarif).

So, what's next? Well, more breachers and Kroot, of course but also Pathfinders, Piranhas and more!

Thanks for looking!  :D

Lovely models! I like the way you blended the newer-scheme chipping with a more natural-looking version of their older "sand" scheme - very coherent, and a great result. :)

Lovely stuff. I have some Tau squirreled away...somewhere.
You make me want to start digging for them.
