Would you be interested in a Fantasy Sports Child Board?
« on: July 11, 2023, 06:39:57 PM »
There has been some discussion about having a child board for Blood Bowl and games of that ilk. To get some decent use out of it, I'd suggest it could be a board for a range of fantasy sports, including Blood Bowl, Dreadball, Dungeon Ball, Rumbleslam, etc. It needs to have a strong fantasy element to count though. What do you think?

I’m in.

Someone could transfer in the various blood bowl threads already in “other”.

Yes, that's what I was thinking too, as there's about 10 or 11 suitable threads just on the first page of the Other Adventures Board.

I think it would be nice. Such games are niche enough that their threads often get buried, but they're popular enough that they'd populate a child board well enough. There are child boards in other folders for games that aren't even in print, and this one would be for a number of different games. I vote yes. :)

That's my take on it too, there's enough popular games out there that the board would be active enough, and it'd give the threads a better audience than in the Other Adventures Board.

It looks like we've got the go ahead for the Fantasy Sports Child Board.

Shamefully caving in to popular demand ;), here's the new Fantasy Sports board.

I've moved the most recent related threads from the Fantasy main board as well as Other Adventures and will do another run later tonight. If you have an older thread (2017 or earlier on the OA board) which you would like to see moved here, reply to this topic with a link and I'll sort it out.

Thank you to Chris. The people have spoken. Or rather the Blood Bowl crowd has rightfully intimidated the ref!
