No - have heard of it, and had considered it as something to look into in the future as an opportunity to pit my FIW/AWI/1812 first nations chaps against some Boot Hill Texians as something a little different - but never done anything about the thought

Really would not be much to game if you went historical.
Just a couple minor skirmishes and then a slaughter as the
Sac and Fox tried to get over the Mississippi. Pretty much the
Sac and Fox were running for their lives.

At the very start, mounted militia walked into an ambush and ran all night. That night and the next morning, a steady stream of "only survivors" showed up at the main army camp. After that, the Indians were hunted down.

The Black Hawk War does have an amazing cast of characters on the US side, including Abe Lincoln, Jeff Davis, and Winfield Scott.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss
