If I am not mistaken, Foundry did some similar figures a while back. These look nice.

Excellent, but this probably belongs on the fantasy part of LAF.

I agree; and as I mentioned on the other thread about these, I will almost certainly be getting a few to use as Ogres in a WHFB Empire force.

Unfortunately however, the chances of me getting some to use as Ogryn in 40k is nearly nil. I mean, I'm pleased they put sci-fi guns on the frame, but their attire just doesn't fit in with any of my 40k Imperial stuff in the slightest, and there's nothing much on the frame that's sci-fi beyond the guns, and hand grenade, and a few of the head options. A shame, but quite understandable; hopefully they do a more sci-fi styled companion set in future! :)

Those look fun and I might need a box for my gunpowder fantasy project eventually, although it's 17thC TYW/ECW based instead of earlier Renaissance. Who knows, maybe ogre ceremonial guards are arch-conservative in dress and have kept the landsknecht style going long after humans moved on to other fashion!

Looks like the ex-Foundry fantasy landsknecht orcs & ogres and such are with Warmonger Miniatures these days, Foundry's fantasy spinoff company: https://www.warmongerminiatures.com/collections/great-orc-characters (and several other pages, everything under the "Orcs" menu listing)

If I ever get to building a Landsknecht army I'll certainly get them just to make the army more fantasy compatible.
