More Star Wars fun with Fistful of Lead. Played 'The Showdown' scenario from 'For a Fistful More: Scenarios for Fistful of Lead' scenario book. Mando, IG-11 and a Weequay thug arrived in a sleepy town, only to discover that it's under the thumb of a ruthless Jawa gang.

I read the report on your blog...typical Star Wars shooting!  lol

One would think two sides starting within 6" of each other in the open would be shot down in an instant...

Good for Mando to do better in this game.  :D Thanks for posting!

As far as I as know, there have never been any official or unofficial miniatures created based on the crew of the USS Voyager. Having looked at commissioning my own miniatures and been put off by the cost, I looked at adapting alternatives. I found a range of 'Starship Crew' sold by Sally 4th. The figures are wearing a Star Trek inspired uniform. Also, the range allows a degree of customization with separate heads and separate arms. Using some of the heads from Sally 4th and raiding by bits box for the rest, I was able to create a 'pseudo' Voyager bridge crew. The Seven of Nine figure was a 3d printed figure called "Cyberpunk Scarlett Dancer". With a bit of filing, it serves as an acceptable proxy for the former Borg.

Ravenx 3d (Tuvok & Doctor) prints with Sally 4th figure (Captain Janeway).

Are the likenesses 100%, no, but they will do for gaming purposes.

Apart from kidnapping the actors and 3D scanning them, there's no way to get any miniature to be a 100% likeness, and your work is perfectly readable as the Voyager crew!

But I think you hit especially close to home with Chakotay and Seven there :)

(did you give him his facial tattoo?)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Sort of  lol

I painted three fine lines to represent the tattoo. However, from a distance it looks like a brown smudge.  :'(

Thanks for the kind words though, very much appreciated.

They are  more than acceptable , and recognisable, depictions of the Voyager characters.

Similar story to Voyager, there have never been any official or unofficial miniatures created based on the crew of DS9. Using the 'Starship Crew' sold by Sally 4th. Raiding my bits box for the heads, I was able to create a 'pseudo' DS9 Starfleet crew.

I'm still looking for alternatives for Major Kira and Odo.

Last Unicorn Worf and my Sisko.

Jadzia Dax.

Bashir and O'Brien.

M'um m'aloo!

As usual, after playing a Western scenario, we transform the adventure into a Star Wars setting. Presenting: "The Fabled Treasure of Possum Gus" in a galaxy far, far away.

In this tale, two rival factions—one led by The Mandalorian and the other a gang of Jawas—are on a quest for the legendary treasure of the infamous rogue, Possum Gus Guthrie.

Anyway, it gave me a chance to give my Jawas a run out.

If you're curious about why bringing Jawas to a gunfight is a bad idea, check it out here - https://nozzawargaming.blogspot.com/2024/10/why-you-should-never-bring-jawa-to.html.
