The Nikto were a humanoid sentient species native to the planet Kintan in the Outer Rim Territories. There existed at least three Nikto subspecies, the Kajain'sa'Nikto (red Nikto), the Kadas'sa'Nikto (green Nikto), and the Esral'sa'Nikto (mountain Nikto).
These are 3d printed 28mm miniatures designed by BigMrTong.

Maybe. I would say that I'd do that when I finish them all...  lol

These ended up being my final 2024 painting. 28mm Jawas from various 3D printers (I tried my best to hide the height differences), painted with Contrast and Speedpaints. The basing glue was still wet when I took the picture.

Nice! I was going to pick some up from my local guy who carries the Big Mr. Tong prints. Are some of those the Jawas in the pic?

Yes, they are. These are the BMT designs and they should be visible in my pic. I'll try and take a better pic for you.

Picked up another miniature from Simon Roberts (L72's Metal Miniature Musings).

Prompt service and a cracking miniature to boot. Although the arms could be glued in place, I decided to pin them to give an additional level of support.

I needed some civilian miniatures for sci-fi, cyberpunk, or near-future games, so I picked up these "Dropship Crew Explorers Miniatures," clearly inspired by the crew from an certain iconic 1979 sci-fi classic.

Those look great. I do need more Sci-Fi civilians. Or let me rephrase that. I need ANY Sci-Fi civilians...I have zero!

This past week, I’ve been on a bit of a Star Wars painting spree!

First up, we have some Ithorians—often called "Hammerheads" or, less kindly, "Leathernecks." These sentient beings from Ithor are known for their unique anatomy, with two mouths on opposite sides of their necks, giving them a deep, rumbling voice. Originally scaled for Star Wars: Legion, I had them resized to 28mm and 3D printed by PhalanxPrintingUK.

Next, we’ve got a pair of familiar faces: the "half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf-herder" himself, Han Solo, alongside his trusty co-pilot, Chewbacca (or, as Leia might say, the "Walking Carpet"). These two were also rescaled to 28mm and printed by madhouse3dprinting.

Following them is Black Krrsantan, a formidable Wookiee bounty hunter whose career spanned from the Galactic Empire’s reign to the New Republic era. He made his on-screen debut in The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+. Like the others, he was resized to 28mm and printed by madhouse3dprinting.

And finally, the fearless Ewoks of Endor! Best known for their role in Return of the Jedi, these little warriors were originally Legion-sized but rescaled to 28mm for printing by madhouse3dprinting. I was expecting 16 to arrive—but to my surprise, I ended up with 37!
