Nice! I've seen those 109s locally. They also do a Hurricane (misidentified as a Spit) and a Corsair. I bought the Corsair a few years ago for my son. For wargaming items they are more than adequate.

If you ever fancy earlier model BF-109s that are cheap and easy to put to gether have a look at the Pegasus range. You can glue ém together but there's no need and because the undercart is plug 'n'play you can pose them in flight or landed at will. They do a nice Hurricane if you need any support from the Desert Air Force.

Only had enough wire for 7 sections (3.5 feet) so will have to pick up some more, but these work ok I think.

Cheers fella!

Ok so I found a bit more wire in a box so another two feet made.

Starting to pull together enough for an airfield raid now….

I have a Jerry can dump…but now need a drum dump…

These are the vehicles Jamie painted for me.  I only just got round to adding the crew / drivers!

Lovely work! :-* :-*

Clever use of hurdles to avoid actually basing the wire, although in reality wired up hurdles are usually only used as entrance barriers, as they are too easy to lift and consume a lot of timber. Still, for multi use wire entanglements it's a sensible approach.

Here are some cheap and easy solutions to the barrel dump.

Fantastic! Love the Jerry can dump in particular, gives the whole piece a nice “lived in” feel :)
And I have to agree that Jamie’s vehicles look stellar, this project is coming along beautifully.

Thanks all.

So I picked up three bags of printed barrels (36 per bag) for about £10 so not bad.

Glued in a few clusters to give quick and easy fuel dump.

Sold by cavalierpostcards……kept some back, will probably do another pile under a tarp or netting.

Light blue touch-paper and retire!

Cheers guys.   I’m tempted to buy a couple more bags to do a large covered piece with camo netting.  Great objective for 02 Hundred hours……I may also have to modify one of my explosions….A Team style!

Where did your jerry can pile and fuel drums come from please?  I think they'll make ideal fuel dumps for 02 Hundred Hours and DAK Attack too.
