Pong Pong seeds
« on: March 11, 2024, 10:13:13 AM »
Not sure if this has be covered before but I remember reading a thread somewhere on the subject ,so ignore if its been already covered .
I have been eying these up for a while after my wife got a plant for a Christmas present with these two beauties sitting on tha base as decoration. As if by luck the plant just happened to die thus leaving me with what I believe are Pong Pong seeds from a Cerbera tree found in Thailand.
So two questions. Firstly I have been told these things could possibly be poisonous and are not really allowed to be imported into the country ?
Secondly ignoring the health risks what would you do with these two fine looking objects ? My first thoughts were some type of alien vegetation but then i fancied using one as an enlarged brain on some warped creature from 40k. Obviously paint them and then seal them after if they are poisonous.
The picture fails to show the size of these things which is about the size of a large orange.

Brainbug?

If you paint them, make sure you varnish/seal them before (and obviously after as well).
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Never too late just as I have two pong pong seeds. The first is going to be a brain and I have already started work on it but I love the beetle idea.
