Huh ... I've never actually considered using that kind of flock for fur before.  Looks good.

Clever idea, looks great! 👍

Thank you.

I was going to use greenstuff but then wondered if this might work.

Experimented on one of my test pieces and I thought it worked well so went for it.

It's a bit nerve-wracking supergluing it on a model you spent so much time on , wondering if it's  going to work or not.

Wanting some old dead trees with a Forbidden Psalm/Turnip 28/Verrotwood vibe and remember seeing a bloke on Youtube making trees from pipe cleaners twisted together and melted with a lighter.

Works pretty well I think and I'll be looking to make a dozen or so in the coming weeks.

Also finished the knight on horse with gas mask using oil washes.

And a couple of trees on the base I've made this morning for taking pictures of models on.

So where am I at the moment no-one asked.

Well.

I'm starting with a mate to get into Forbidden Psalm so have a few bits as WIP for that game and will be continuing on the slow burn Perilous Tenfold Dungeons project I started last year - I have high hopes of starting to play that sometime after 2030 the way it's going!!!!!

A friend of mine writes solo adventures for the old British RPG Dragon Warriors so I decided to pick up the rules, download some scenarios from https://www.redruin.org/ and give them a go.

I also bought the Bestiary which has some lovely old school beasties in, giving me a bit of an idea; I'll kitbash some of the creatures drawn and/or described in the book.

First up is a Manticore, which was an easy pick with a good illustration for me to follow.

He's made from a GW Gryph Hound body, head from a GW Demon with the horns and ears removed, mane from greenstuff and a scorpion tail from a paperclip, jewellery beads and more greenstuff.

That is a great conversion! The painting suits the model and I love that it’s a unique figure. Totally has the old school vibe!

Thank you. He worked exactly as I planned which is unusual. I figured if I'm modelling on old school ideas then the finished mini should fit the look.

Great work mate! 👍

Cheers fella.

I've started with Forbidden Psalm and really wanted the book but it's only available in the US.

So I got the pdf, printed it in A5 then cut and glued into a B5 scrapbook, it's even blessed with my own blood on one page after I sliced it with the blade.

I think it fits the aesthetic quite well.

Had the day off today so have used it wisely.

Made a spare hero for my warband.

Finished building and basing the 'disembowelled ghouls'.

Built and based the Owl Bear skeleton to join my newly based Wendigo - they will be Puca in Forbidden Psalm. Need two more similar sculpts as 4 Puca are needed in total, suggestions gratefully received.

Made some corpse markers for the game as well.

The next monster I want to kitbash from the Dragon Warriors RPG Bestiary is a Hydra, here's the current state of this project.

So, as some of you may know, I had a lengthy Zona Alfa build and play during lockdown with my zone being Zona Britaniya, a post nuclear war winter in the North of Britain.

Not played for a while and getting back into it with Kontraband.

To fit the setting better I'm in the process of updating the POI cards and markers.

Very cool war-band so far.
Built and based the Owl Bear skeleton to join my newly based Wendigo - they will be Puca in Forbidden Psalm. Need two more similar sculpts as 4 Puca are needed in total, suggestions gratefully received.
There is another more meaty Windigo that was sculpted by Bears Head Miniatures.  Now available with Bad squiddo.  https://badsquiddogames.com/shop#!/Wendigo/p/467036274/category=21735086
