Really nice models all round; great sculpts, great painting, and really good basing! Well done.  :)

Probably true about the sand. I still remember the look my wife gave me when I was painting some bases and tried to explain why I was painting the ‘dirt’ to get it to look more like dirt…

The rebased figures look great, by the way, they totally make me want to dive into an Egyptian or both biblical army.

Very nice, bases really do make the figure I think. Adds its own light.

Grand figures as well  :D

Those are nice.  I've just rebased an army for ADLG too.

Cheers! Some Bow. ADLG has achievable armies, I think. Dunno if I have the attention span for a DBM size 28mm army these days!

Weird to think how old the Foundry NKE are yet it's still the best range for the subject out there. The Warlord ones/ex Cutting Edge are good but odd looking (and really expensive now). I have the Warlord NKE ready to prime but can't process how they are going to look next to the Foundry in the same army!

Those old Perry Foundry lines have certainly held up well.  They must be thirty years old now.  I remember eagerly turning to the adverts in Wargames Illustrated to drool over figures I couldn't afford, even when they were just line drawings.  :D

I totally agree on the army size with ADLG.  It's very achievable, especially at 100pts, but with scope for growth too.  I used to try to paint hordes but usually ended up with a few painted figures and a pile of bare lead.

For basing I like chunky elements, so I'm doing my ADLG bases as mostly 60x60mm.  Nostalgic shades of Simon McDowall's "Goths, Huns and Romans" or the League of Augsburg games in those old WIs again, maybe.  Sadly my painting has never been that good.

PS I see we both opt for the paint splattered cutting mat background when displaying our figures.  ;)

Yep, they look good!

I plan to base my Assyrians - well, some of them - on 60x60's I recently picked a fair few Foundry packs on Ebay, including the Siege mantlets and archers, so looking forward to mounting them properly on diorama bases :-)

Looking forward to those.  I know little about biblical history but I've always had a soft spot for Egyptian and Assyrian wargames armies.  It's what the grown ups had when I was snot-nosed-kid playing Warhammer.  They still feel like 'proper' wargames armies. :)

Really beautiful. I’m amazed nobody like Victrix or even Perrys have done some Biblical plastics. They’re so good they’d create a genre of interest for us.

Those figures are great.   The rocky sandy bases really set them off well.   Nice job.  PS  have you seen the Blitzkrieg/ RedCopperMiniatures  Biblicals are available? They look excellent too.
