20mm Back of Beyond?
« on: November 18, 2022, 12:24:38 PM »
Im am thinking of going 20mm for eastern front WW1 and Back of beyond. Any suggestions of figure lines available out there?

BandBMiniatures have a decent range in 20mm.

Cheers,

Frontline Wargaming sell the old "IT Miniatures" figures which include quite a large WW1/RCW range. Quite old sculpts now but full of character and at 60p a figure not badly priced.

Tumbling Dice have an extensive WW1 range, no pics online really and the site is a little sparse on details but the old catalogue is here. I have some of the Russians in greatcoats with fur hats and they're fairly nice.

I'm a bit of a newb at BoB but with the various types of headwear in the range I imagine you can fudge it for many forces, if you're not too bothered about complete accuracy.

There's a fair amount in 1/72 plastic for Russians and Germans.

BB fgures are not comaptible with 1:72.
There is also a quite a lot of new metal figures compatible with 1:72 like Early WarMiniatures and Elhiem Miniatures.

I personally converted those figures

for militia in BackOfBeyond/WildWest.
