Very nice looking figures.

But for some reason, the pics are upside down on my PC...

Yes, I don't know why, but all the photos I upload appear upside down. I don't understand it, since I use the same images and in other forums and in my blog, they appear correctly.

Thank you very much for your support

This time, it's time to change a bit and instead of presenting minis, I'm going to show something related to my Rif War project, which complements it: a bit of scenery.

https://pincelesydadoswargames.blogspot.com/2023/04/como-hacer-casas-para-guerra-del-rif.html?m=1

My intention was to start making some houses and some palm groves, to be able to fill my own gaming table. I wanted to make a small house as a test, but when designing it, I started adding details to you and I ended up with a kind of "strong house", a Qsar. A building that the small Rif and Yebala leaders had. It was used as a dwelling, a place to store grain and animals, to protect it from attacks by rival Kabyles.

The materials used are very simple: foam board, Das paste, wooden rods and normal cardboard.

I still have a lot of work to do. Being a large piece, I want to make a base and paint it. On the blog, there are many photos of the process and the final result.

I hope you like it

Yes, good looking constructions.   May be tempted to try a few myself!

Thank you very much, just like Bilbo Bolson, use my skills as a looter, to keep for my benefit, the materials that we usually have at home, for my children's school crafts: foam board, wood, Das pasta and cardboard. Sometimes crime, if it is profitable, hahaha.

I can only encourage you to try it, the materials are very easy to get and the construction technique is very simple.

After this scenery element, which is serving me as a break after so much time painting minis, I have a more ambitious project in mind, taking as a model, a commission made by the 1898 brand to Carlos Elias, a modeler from Barcelona, passionate about of the scenery: make a small rifeņo town.

I leave you a couple of photos of his work, which will serve as inspiration

Buffff, and so much so that the minis and the scenery are great. The minis are from 1898, from their Beau Geste range, for the French legion in 1900 in North Africa. They have me in love and sooner rather than later, I will get part of their range, to make me a column of French.

The Scenery, is a commission that they made to Carles Elias, it is from the old school and its scenery is wonderful. It has been part of Stalingrad, houses for Normandy 1944 and lately, it is making a Spanish town to play Spanish Civil War 1936-1939, which is wonderful. I put a couple of photos of him, so you can see what I'm talking about. For me, it is one of the great references in Spain.
