3D Printing - Day One With A Resin Printer

I have found that holding the washed, cleaned and cured figure/object with tweazers then placing it in very hot water for about 10 seconds softens the supports and makes removing them from the "sprue" so much easier. This cuts down on breakages. Also I have found that snipping the odd hand or head off is pretty straightforward and replacements from the spares box can vary a unit.

My screen bit the dust the other day but Elegoo are sending a replacement as it is under warranty. Excellent service  from them.

Many thanks Ulverston. I'll give the hot water suggestion a try at some point - as I'm currently removing the supports post wash but pre-cure.

Sorry,another question. Is your 3D printer big enough to print 28mm vehicles(Bolt Action size 1/56) ?

Hi Modelwarrior. Yes. I've printed a couple of vehicles so far - a single piece 28mm space shuttle and a multi-part tracked sci-fi vehicle. Both r comparably with a BA tank, imho.
