WW2 Project with 28mm Wargame Atlantic figurines
« on: December 22, 2022, 08:42:31 AM »
hey guys,

In order to diversify the opponents for my resistants (Artizan design) I started conversion to get French Militia from the Vichy forces.
The first test is an officer, based on the WA French ww1, resistant head et Pz Lehr arms.

That sculpt is very sharp. I'm not familiar with Atlantic figures.

Excellent. :) Yeah, that kit is really, really useful. Here's my review of the kit, if anybody's interested: https://www.battlebrushstudios.com/2021/06/review-wargames-atlantic-partisans1.html

Used the ones I got for making modern zombie apocalypse surviver types, because I don't really have any plans to use partisans in my 28mm games (yet). The kit was too tempting though due to its versatility.

For the "miliciens", i 'll use :
* the body of the pz Lehr
* Arms from the French WW2 sprue included in the WW1 box, some resistant arms (with the sten) and some from the pz Lehr.
* heads from the resistants (with th)e french "béret" and some french ones in helmet.

the next step will be to convert French "Gendarmes" with the spare officer bodies from the WW1 french box.
like these from wargamezone.fr painting studio :

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
