No issues with paint chipping? With the really useful boxes I put down a magnetic sheet and then use flexible steel base bottoms or magnets to secure the models inside the box. The inserts allow me to get multiple levels of figs into the box.
Do you add any padding or anything to the Plano boxes?

Amazon? Hobby Lobby?

The group I game with in Montreal and Ottawa use the Plano boxes for our 15/18mm Armies, the figures are mounted on LITKO plywood bases and whilst the figures do not move around, they don’t travel that far so no chance of a pothole making a mess of their neat ranks.

Hobby lobby and Office Depot have the boxes but I’m looking for a supplier that make mdf trays that fit inside the boxes to I can layer minis in. Like 35mm trays or 70mm trays

I use no padding, the figures are fairly tight in the box. I have lined some trays with sticky back magnetic tape.
