Confrontation project.
The Belisarius clones are all done, I managed to collect 9 of them. So for now a skirmishing unit of 10, I will make a filler base for them :)





The Keratis warriors got rebased for 40mm bases, and they also get proper movement trays. So now they make two Regiments (in KoW these ogre-type units make 3-model units for Regiment size) plus one character guy.

Excellent! I love Rackham minis, your version of the Belisarius clones is pretty impressive. The Keratis clones look cool too, but a closer view would be great :)

Thank you! Around 30-40% of my collection were painted when Confrontation was a thing, so some 15 years ago, you can see most of them on pg1. Later, not long after Rackham kicked the bucket, I bought the rest- I do not have the complete Dirz range, but a good part of it. Now I am painting those with artist oils, looks much better then what I could achieve with acrylics. The current goal, as no one is playing Confrontation any more (wasnt't much a good game anyways, I tried it once) is to use them in army games- so they need some reorganizing :)

The Keratis are also from the old times, I just put them onto 40mm bases recently. On the picture you can see them on their original 25mm bases- as I said the current goal is to use them in army games, so 40mm fits better this type/size of figures.

Thank you very much for the pictures! I also possess most of the Dirz range, and I'm still hesitating about the color scheme :D
I always thought the Keratis figures were cramped on their bases, bigger bases are a natural and good idea.

Thank you! She is a pretty universal character, from medieval times to 40k I can use the base figure with minor conversions.

A third Brother Vinni sorceress, she is my favourite, it is rare that I can use a modern military colour scheme on a fantasy figure.

She looks great. The palette you used portrays a more realistic set of hues for naturally dyed clothing. I have been toying with that idea for a long time but you beat me to it - I like it very much.

Thank you! On some figures these colours would seem forced, but here they match perfectly.
