Sellswords & Spellslingers is co-op with a failure mechanism + card deck determining enemy actions.

It's a great system, especially if there's habitually three people at a games night and you're tired of oddball 2-vs-1 or 1vs1vs1 scenarios...

The ones that spring to mind are:

5 Parsecs From Home/ Five Miles from the Borderlands

Enderain

All small scale skirmish games.

And:

Pony Wars

Slightly larger skirmish.
There are 100 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data.

Lotow once had a scenario with guarding, sneaking rules, The Walking Dead has a rule to cumulate noise. The RPG Aliens uses cumulating stress and panic dice rolls for the player. In my opinion this is an interesting rule. You can push your own dice rolls accepting stress dices but sooner or later your character is out of control and will react in his own way.

Pulp Alley also has robust solo rules.

Also:

- Rangers of Shadowdeep (Small adventuring party level fantasy)
- Advanced Heroquest (Small adventuring party level fantasy)
- Platoon Forward (Platoon-level WW2)

I'm pretty sure I've seen solo rules for at least version of Space Hulk too (probably first edition).

I think most of the Two Hours Wargames stuff has solo rules - I certainly remember options for the zombie games

Exploit Zero and Nightwatch are both solo/co-op and have simple AI.
Insurgent Earth is the same but a bit more detailed.
Kontraband is the solo/co-op supplement for Zona Alfa.

None of them are particularly sophisticated. More guidelines for behavior than specific movement orders or tactics.

Forbidden Psalm.

Every scenario is designed for versus, co-op or solo modes, with monster AI even causing monsters to fight other monsters!

I have done a lot of work on solo wargame, mostly with Rangers of Shadow Deep, but also with Frostgrave, Stargrave, and Silver Bayonet.  I have found, in most cases, it works better to play against 'a scenario' than it is a 'specific opponent'. An opponent is never going to be intelligent using a simple AI system, so the challenge needs to come from elsewhere, and just beefing up the opponent often leads to a slog.

From the designer of 5 parsecs also comes Weaseltech which is a 6-15mm mecha game purely solo. The enemies have that "blips on a radar" kind of behaviour until revealed with simple AI rules, but fun to play.
