[Commercial] Cheap GW style bases

Fellow LAFers,

some days ago I joined my daughter and wife to a teip to TEDI (aome kind of poundland store quite common in Germany). Inside my eyes gell upon a bag of small round balsa discs for €2 and I bought some to use as bases.

Back home, I was surprised that these discs are exactly the size of old 1“ diameter bases as well as those for the new bigger GW models (Space Marines, Orks etc.)


I don’t know if Tedi exists outside Germany, though.
The bag has quite a few inside plus some very small ones (<1cm). A cheap alternative for those who like flat bases.

One of the larger discs next to a GW Space Marine base. It looks a bit larger because the GW base is slightly conical.

And here you can see the Space Marine base on top of the disc. Again: perfect fit.

Nice tip. No TEDI in U.K. though…
