The light box is doing you poorly, as your fill or ambient light is too weak and thus all your images look flat and gray. Use basic three point lighting (and you really don’t have to have even three sources often just a good key light) and even an old phone camera will give you good results. 

Your nice figures deserve good photos!

There are plenty of easy fixes for photo ing figs in the photography section here.  20 minutes study and you’ll look like a pro!
