28mm gangsters, and a reporter - PICS
« on: October 25, 2009, 05:08:15 PM »
Ciao,

those minis were finished and waiting on the shelf, and today I had the time to get some pictures.
There are gangsters from Pulp Miniatures, and a reporterter form Artizan Design.
Hope you like them!

Marco

Really nice!
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Good grief, a tommy-gun armed Norwich City Football Club supporter! What ever next?

 lol lol

In the beginning I was thinking of a redblack scarf of Milan AC, but then I switched to a more anonymous - in Italy - greenyellow.
Now I'm happy to learn that greenyellow are the social colours of Norwich City! :)

The stripes on the reporter's shirt; the plaid lining of his coat; the other guy's pinstripe suit... all awesome, I am envious. Stripes and tartans still scare me, perhaps I'll attempt some on the next round of figures I paint... or maybe not!

Nicely done, in any case!

Wirelizard,

I painted those lines with a brush Windsor & Newton 00 Series 7, and it was quite an easy job.
I get W&N only because they're easily available, but there are several others very good brushes.
There is a link dealing with the brush topic.

So, it's not the painter, but the brush! ;)

Very good.   :)

I'm (very, very slowly) painting some gangsters myself.  These are more nice inspiration.
