BSC2023 .:Gunslinger:. Sacred Baobab

Hi,

First time BSC for me. After rummaging through all my ongoing projects I settled for a sacred old Baobab tree, thats a place of worship for the local tribes. The idea is to build a chunky old tree and add decorations, sacrifices, ritual paintings etc.

First step will be gathering information/inspiration images as well as finding a suitable item to make the core of the tree: I want to sculpt thee shape of the Baobab using air drying clay and milliput, addind wire branches on top.

Are the carvings and ritual paintings going to be part of the tree itself? Or gathered around it? Hope my suggestions don't muddle your thinking. I'd hate to see you sitting there, wanting to get started, but...ahem...stumped!

Ah these puns are fantastic! Keep them coming over the course of the build, I am sure it will be very poplar!

@Mike: I think the tree will have paintings directly on it in the end (can't show it because for BSC the entries have to be unpainted), will see if I'm able to make ritual carvings as well. Baobabs seem to have lots of natural crevices and holes in them, in which trinkets and sacrifices could be placed!
