Very pretty. I must try some 40mm, though I doubt it will be more than a skirmish.

That was a very good battle report, with great looking figures and scenery (what there was of it!  8) ).

Couple comments...

A.  Never put in newly-painted troops at a critical point in the battle.  It does indeed seem that the Gods of War(games) tend to frown on those chaps....

B.  For the record, those are COOKIES.  Biscuits are something on which one puts sausage gravy...    ;D :D

Fab looking game!  8) 8)

What is the significance of the rings, the tufts and the numbers on the Officer/NCO bases please?

Not played Sharp Practise!
If it isn't enjoyable, it isn't gaming!

Thanks very much guys, COOKIEs Lol!

Biscuit monster doesnt sound the same does it!

In sharp practice we need to mark shock and casualties. The tufts are shock ad work really well. The rings are casualties and work less well but are OK. Commanders activate when their card is drawn from a pack so each commander has a number, the numbered bases make t easier to remember which is which. Something I got done through a 3d printing firm.

Good job, pretty toys.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss
