VBCW Agricultural Militia
« on: February 20, 2023, 01:26:46 PM »
Its the Hereford VBCW Spring Big Game 2023 this weekend, and a variety of new Platoons are making
an appearance, including an "Agricultural Militia" of farmers/tenants, made almost exclusively from
Em-4 miniatures "value priced" plastic ACW 28mm figures, with a few odd conversions for LMGs, etc.

Great conversions and painting, they look smashing!

But... it looks like that Union Flag is upside down...

Beautifully done although I will confess I was hoping for the Wurzels.

E agora seu povo

Great use of miniatures! (I used to have the Britains farmers in my box of toy animals when I was a kid, but they were given away a looong time ago).

Also shows that wargaming does not need to be expensive.

Great idea, Clive….I wish I’d thought of it when I was selling them :o

I must have a few sets kicking round somewhere so I’m very tempted to mobilise the Borsetshire Militia to counter the many threats facing that tranquil county.

Thanks all ! Doug ex-em4 they are jolly useful figures - I have one or two sections in the pipeline with headswaps (bowlers, trilbies etc.) and, being plastic, they are very easy to convert. Red Orc you are of course right (to my shame) and I will have to fix that for Saturday, or claim that it is in fact a 'distress signal' (which no doubt Bullshott will think appropriate!).
