Sad news about Outpost.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

I have Friekorps 15 FPW figures. They are indeed true 15mm. I bought and painted them back in the early to mid-90s. I have several battalions of Prussians. I also have three battalions of Turcos, three of Zouaves, and one French Hussar regiment. I still use these but the bulk of my collection is Old Glory. The Old Glory figures are IMO the best range OG has.

The Friekorps 15's Zouave and Turcos are nicely done. However, I am not taken with their cavalry. The Prussians have both pickelhaube and field cap. The caps are a nice touch but the Pickelhaube is disappointing. The  Friekorps 15's figures are very fragile. One drop on a hard floor and they tend to shatter. The OG figures are more durable. Overall I rate the OG range as superior.

OB, very nice. I have Freikorps Seven Years War armies bought back in the early 1990s. Last year I decided to refurbish them with new GMB flags plus "re-organise" them for a new ruleset ( note not re-base!). This necessitated buying some new figures from QRF. Not the best sculpts by modern standards but cheap a with a certain charm. I would certainly buy them again if gaming the 18th/19th century in 15mm as their ranges are pretty comprehensive.  I suspect the old, brittle metal changed when QRF took them over?

Yeah SJ, QRF changed the metal a long time ago.  No more breakages through mishap.

They seem to have two 15mm sizes now.  The old one we all know but the new 19th Century stuff  is pretty big.  An easy fit with Old Glory mentioned above.

Not sure, but I think at least part of the Warrior range is available through Caliber Books.  Afraid their new website is a bit of a pain to navigate so didn't double check.  But I think that is where I got some FIW 15 mm figures - but it might have been a different range.

I'll have a look but I think what you got from Caliver was Matchlock Miniatures.  Their FIW stuff is lovely.  I cant recall Warrior immediately recall making FIW.

Agree. These figures were sculpted by the Perris brothers who were trying to get the Detaille look and largely succeeded. (Old Glory 15s, that is)
